VIRGINIA HOCKEY PLAYERS ENJOYING FABULOUS SUCESS

GARRETT ROE, Vienna, Virginia ( Former Reston Raider)

Former Reston Raider, Garrett Roe, played three seasons with the Indiana Ice of the USHLand in September will be joining

tSt Cloud State University to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey and study! He has consistently been one of the USHL leading scorers for his birth age.

In 2006-07 season Garrett scored an amazing 64 points as his teams leading point getter!

Garrett spent the summer at home here in Virginia as an Instructor for HARDCORE HOCKEY at Skatequest Reston.

Garrett earned his spot on the Indiana Ice after an impressive performance at their training camp when he was just 16 years old

and rapidly became a crucial component of the Ice offense.

Garrett's Huskies compete in the WCHA which includes such teams as the University of Minnesota (Golden Gophers).

CRAIG KITTO, Ashburn, Virginia ( Former Xtreme, MYHA and current Junior Nationals)

Former Ashburn Xtreme and MYHA forward Criag Kitto was named this month to the 21-player roster of USA Hockey's Under-18 Select Team.

The squad will compete in the 2007 Under-18 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka tournament from August 14-18 in Piestany, Slovakia and Hodonin, Czech Republic.

Team members were chosen from the 2007 USA Hockey Select 17 Player Development Camp, which was held July 7-13 at the National Hockey Center

at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn., and featured many of America's best hockey players born in 1990.

The 5-10, 160-pound forward from Ashburn, Va., is currently playing for the Washington Junior Nats. Kitto will be a senior at Stone Bridge High School in 2007-08.

ADAM COMRIE, Ashburn, Virginia ( Former XTREME and MYHA)

Adam is somewhat of a transplant to the area. Canadian born but now a US citizen., Adam has spent much of his formative

hockey years in local programs. Most recently Adam played for Dan Houck's Montgomery Tier 1 team that

played in the 05-06 USA Hockey National Championship. Following his succesful performance at Nationals,

Adam was scouted for the USHL and played the 06-07 season with Omaha. He was also drafted by the Saginaw Spirit of the

OHL. Adam is projected by scouts to be a high pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft!

The 6 foot 5 inches defensemen is definitely a "high" pick!

Adam also spent his summer at home in Virginia as an instructor and counsellor for Hardcore Hockey
